Breede River Holiday Farm Malgas was a cozy retreat with a farm-style charm that instantly put us at ease. The cottage we stayed in was clean and well-equipped, providing all the basics we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, ensuring our cottage was ready upon our arrival.The setting of the farm was inviting, with lovely garden views and friendly farm animals adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Although the property is not directly on the river, it is conveniently located near the water, making it a peaceful spot to relax. Unfortunately, river access was limited to weekends at the Boathouse Restaurant, but the overall experience made up for this small inconvenience.The chalet itself was thoughtfully designed, featuring a fully equipped kitchenette, a charming patio, and a barbecue area perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. The accommodations also offered modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, ensuring entertainment options during downtime. The proximity to De Hoop Nature Reserve was convenient for our early morning plans, and the tranquil setting provided a much-needed escape from city life. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque farm setting with a touch of wildlife charm.
